The Seawalk along the foreshore of Malaspina Strait is part of the Powell River Waterfront Projects. The view is definitely nice, I never tire of it.
On
a hot day it's recommended to do this walk in the early morning, before
the summer sun gets full. On a cooler day it can be nice to sit on one
of several benches along the walk and watch the boats go by. And if you
sit long enough, the odds are good for seeing one of the eagles that
have taken up a summer residence.
